FESTIVAL OPENING WITH CONCERT ‘NİYAZ FEAT AZAM ALI’
The opening of the festival will kick off this year on November 13 with the stage of the band Niyaz, founded by Iranian-born artist Azam Ali and his American partner Carmen Rizzo, at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center. With the ability to use his voice as an instrument, the artist will give music lovers an extraordinary experience at the 11th International Clarinet Festival. The group’s second concert as part of the festival will take place on November 15 at the Ankara CSO Island Campus Main Hall.
KEREM GÖRSEV TRIO FEAT. ELIF CAGLAR AT THE FESTIVAL
Kerem Görsev Trio feat. Kerem Görsev Trio feat. This time, Elif Çağlar will greet art lovers at the 11th International Clarinet Festival. The duo will meet on November 14 at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul, where they will take the stage during the first leg of the festival. Kerem Görsev and Elif Çağlar will meet on November 16 at the next meeting at Ankara CSO Island Campus Main Hall.
TURKISH AND GREEK FRIENDSHIP ON THE PODIUM
On the last day of the festival, one of the leading clarinet virtuosos of our country Serkan Cagri world famous clarinetist from Greece Vassilis Saleas years later they meet again on the same stage. The two artists, who will show the interaction of Turkish and Greek cultures in the historical process, will give one of the most special concerts of the 11th International Clarinet Festival.
Called the wizard of the clarinet, the Greek artist made a name for himself among the legends with his numerous works such as “Weeping Eyes” and “Prelude”. Serkan Çağrı, on the other hand, has shared the stage with many famous names from Sting to Giora Fiedman, from Goran Bregovic to Joan Baez and continues his musical journey as one of the biggest brands in the world in our country. Serkan Çağrı, who will breathe the clarinet in the name of friendship with his Greek partner, will meet with music lovers on November 15 at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul. The duo’s next meeting will be on November 17 at the Ankara CSO Island Campus Main Hall.
