These cramps, which usually occur at night during pregnancy, can also disrupt sleep patterns. Pregnant women with cramping symptoms should turn to their obstetrician and gynecologist and start the necessary medications. Reflux during pregnancy

The condition of the reflux of stomach acid from the stomach to the esophagus is called reflux. Especially during pregnancy, the pressure of the valve at the end of the esophagus decreases due to the increased hormone progesterone. Accordingly, reflux occurs. As the pregnancy progresses, there is an increase in intra-abdominal pressure and the pressure this creates on the abdomen due to this situation also increases the complaints.

Reflux, which does not occur before pregnancy but begins to appear during pregnancy, often resolves on its own at the end of pregnancy. Food intake should be stopped at least 2 hours before bedtime, a high pillow should be used when lying down, and spicy foods should be avoided.
