See what causes the oil glands under the armpits….
The causes of its appearance are usually due to a damaged hair follicle or overactive sebaceous glands. To treat sebaceous cysts and prevent their occurrence, herbal treatment methods that balance oil production in the skin are generally preferred. We have listed the most effective of these natural methods for you;
Fomentation
Soak a clean washcloth in hot water. After turning it and draining the excess water, put it on the cyst and wait like this for 5-10 minutes. Repeat this process 3-4 times a day until the cyst heals. This method, which speeds up circulation and shortens recovery time, also allows you to use a heating pad, if you have one, instead of a washcloth and water.
apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which destroys bacterial infections. Apple cider vinegar is also used in the cyclotherapy process applied to treat cysts. Apply apple cider vinegar directly to the sebaceous cyst and cover it with a bandage. Change the bandage daily. After 1 week you will see that a hard layer has formed on the cyst. Gently lift this hard layer and drain the contents of the cyst. Clean this area using a clean washcloth.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera has phenolic components that have an antibiotic effect. Therefore, aloe vera is extremely effective for treating sebaceous cysts. Apply the gel contained in Aloe Vera leaves, which you can squeeze out, to the cyst. Continue this process twice a day for a few days (until the cyst heals).
Indian oil
Dip a cotton swab in castor oil and apply it directly to the cyst. Then place the hot water bag on the cleaning cotton. This way you can see the cyst getting smaller if you wait a while.
Sandalwood and rose water
Sandalwood, with its antifungal components, also speeds up the treatment of sebaceous cysts. Mix sandalwood with rose water until it has a creamy consistency and apply to the cyst. Wait for it to dry and then rinse with cold water. Continue to apply this recipe, which will also reduce the inflammation caused by the cyst, 2 times a day until the cyst disappears.
Potatoes
Potatoes contain high amounts of vitamin C. Since vitamin C accelerates the removal of dead skin cells, it is also ideal for treating sebaceous cysts.
Place a potato slice on the cyst and cover it with a clean cloth. Let it stay that way overnight.
You can also dip a cotton ball in potato juice and rub it over the cyst. Again, if you keep it that way all night without rinsing, you’ll see the cyst get smaller when you wake up in the morning.
Honey
Honey is the most organic of all natural treatments you can find. One of the most effective methods of treating sebaceous cysts is honey.
Mix some wheatgrass with half a banana and 1 tablespoon of honey in a blender. Apply this resulting mixture to the area with the cyst. Cover it with a clean cloth and leave it overnight. Repeat this application daily until the cyst heals.
Honey
An alternative treatment method is to mix 3 tablespoons of honey with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this mixture to the cyst. You can apply this application daily until the cyst disappears.
In another alternative honey treatment, thoroughly mix 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 egg white. Gently spread the mixture over the cystic area with your clean fingertips. You can repeat this application twice a day, morning and evening.
Turmeric
Turmeric is one of the most effective herbal treatment methods to break the cyst and restore that part of the skin. In addition, of the treatments on this page, turmeric is the most effective pain reliever.
Add 1 tablespoon of turmeric to 1 glass of water and boil it and let it cool after boiling. Drinking this chilled turmeric tea every night can both speed up the healing of the cyst and ease the pain.
You can also mix some mint juice and turmeric powder to get a creamy consistency.
Apply this mixture to the cyst and leave it on for 15 minutes. You can rinse with water.
You can also do the same treatment with a mixture of turmeric, honey and water.
