Balık also explained that many patients come to Turkey from abroad for health tourism and the reason why they prefer our country as follows:

“Really, medical education in Turkey is clearly different from other countries, so there could be many reasons for this. Basically, when you look at the book base, we read the same things, but when you look at the practical base, there are very serious differences. In the past, patients only came from Europe and Arab countries, but now patients also come from Canada, America and, quite strikingly, Australia. Somehow people see this work being done well in Turkey, they share it on social media. In the past, the data rate was slower and not reliable. Now people see results through videos and come here. If you look at it in terms of price, according to exchange rate calculations, it remains very economical. That is why there is a patient flow to Turkey.”

“Just as everyone’s understanding of clothing is different, there is also a difference in aesthetics. Beautiful is not beautiful everywhere. A good nose is therefore not a good nose everywhere. In aesthetic surgery, the first rule is that your doctor is a plastic surgeon and the second rule is your doctor’s aesthetic insight. Just as your understanding of aesthetics is different, mine is different for me. Therefore, it is important that your aesthetic perception is the same as that of your doctor. You need to understand this, if you know that your doctor is a plastic surgeon, if you have information about your doctor’s education, your doctor’s aesthetic perception remains. So how will you know? If you see the results, if you like the results, it’s in line with yours. Then your choice is correct.
