The forum stressed the importance of strengthening Turkey-Africa cooperation to strengthen Africa’s processing and production capacities through the establishment of regional agricultural processing and production centers as a way to increase intra-African trade and increase Africa’s share increase in world trade.
The Forum reaffirms the important role of the African Union in promoting Africa’s economic integration, in particular the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) which will become operational on 1 January 2021, and will promote the African Continental Free Trade Area between Turkey and Africa. and trade relations, and offers opportunities to attract small, medium and large investments that can be used to the mutual benefit of both sides.
