Retired soldiers, engineers and journalists, who witnessed Baykar’s high-tech development adventure, tell the process from their own perspective in the documentary Target Kızılelma.

The Bayraktar Kızılelma project, which Baykar started with 100 percent equity, started in 2021. Bayraktar Kızılelma, which will be the platform that will revolutionize the battlefield with its short-runway ship take-off and landing capability, will play an important role in overseas missions and perform strategic tasks for the protection of the Blue Sea thanks to this capability. Bayraktar Kızılelma, with a take-off weight of 8.5 tons and a payload of 1,500 kilograms, will also have high situational awareness with the national AESA radar. Bayraktar Kızılelma, which will use all nationally developed ammunition, will be able to operate with smart fleet autonomy.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, which can perform air-to-air combat like manned fighters with aggressive maneuvers, unlike unmanned aerial vehicles, will also be effective against air targets with domestic air-to-air munitions. With these skills he will change the balance on the battlefield. It will have a multiplier effect on Turkey’s deterrence.
